The Chevy x Nike Book 2 "Metallic Red Bronze" Releases August 2026

Devin Booker is pulling from his personal car collection for the latest chapter of his Nike signature line. The Chevy x Nike Book 2 "Metallic Red Bronze" draws its inspiration from Booker's 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertible, a copper-toned classic he calls "Pretty Penny." The car's distinctive paint job translates directly onto the sneaker through a glossy Metallic Red Bronze patent leather upper, giving the Book 2 a finish that mirrors the vintage Impala almost one-to-one.

Chevrolet branding is woven throughout the design with a level of specificity that goes beyond a simple logo placement. The brand's crossed flags appear on the heel, nodding to the classic automotive badge, while a metallic "V" logo on the tongue adds another reference to the vintage Impala. The build rounds out with Sail and Black accents, keeping the palette grounded while the patent leather upper handles most of the visual work. Booker has long referred to his classic car collection as "The Library," and for him the collaboration also connects back to his Michigan upbringing, where Detroit's automotive culture has always been part of the landscape.

The Chevy x Nike Book 2 "Metallic Red Bronze" is set to release on August 26th, 2026 through Nike and select retailers for a retail price of $155, with a Detroit SNKRS Pass event on August 14th and a Burn Rubber pickup on August 15th.
