The Cade Cunningham x Nike ST Charge "Rugged" Releases August 2026

Cade Cunningham's summer run of Nike ST Charge colorways closes out with the "Rugged," a third installment that follows the "Detroit Tough" and the Bowie High School-inspired release. Where the earlier pairs leaned on hometown pride and school colors, this one pulls from an outdoor aesthetic that gives the silhouette a different kind of character, calling to mind the earthy tones of classic Nike ACG territory.

Khaki tan mesh covers most of the upper, grounding the build in a neutral, trail-ready palette. A translucent protective layer wraps the lower portion of the shoe and extends across the midsole, adding a structural element that reinforces the rugged concept. Textured arrows running in both directions are worked into the reinforced panels, giving the construction a directional detail that adds visual depth without overcomplicating the design.

Detroit Pistons colors enter the picture to break up the neutral base. Blue lands on the tongue and inner lining, while orange hits the small lateral Swoosh and heel support. Cunningham's No. 2 jersey number finishes the look on the heel tab, tying the pair back to his on-court identity.
