Boardroom x Nike KD 16 Hits Retailers November 2023
Just a few months after Kevin Durant's move to the Brooklyn Nets in 2019, he and business partner Rich Kleiman founded Boardroom, a media entity focused on the intersection of business and sports. With the release of Durant's 16th signature Nike sneaker this fall, the collaboration between Boardroom and Nike takes form in the Boardroom x Nike KD 16.
The Boardroom x Nike KD 16 is predominantly draped in deep black hues, exuding a sleek appearance. A nubuck overlay traces the mudguard and extends to the heel, while a dark obsidian TPU panel runs across the midfoot. Adding a touch of flair is the mesh base with its subtle zebra pattern, seamlessly blending black and dark grey. The right shoe features the recognizable KD emblem on its tongue, while the left introduces the 35V logo, representing Durant's 35 Ventures, the parent organization behind Boardroom. The insole proudly displays the Boardroom branding, replacing the usual KD insignia. To complete the look, a coconut milk midsole provides a stunning contrast with the dark obsidian rubber outsole.
