AURALEE and New Balance are bringing their 204L collaboration to retail after the project first surfaced during Paris Fashion Week last June. The Japanese label is known for its restrained, elevated approach to design, and this two-colorway pack fits squarely within that ethos, favoring muted palettes and premium construction over loud branding or flashy details.
The "Cream" colorway builds on a mesh base with leather overlays throughout, giving the shoe a lighter and more breathable character. The mesh foundation keeps the construction open while the leather panels add structure and a clean finish across the upper. The "Brown" colorway takes a richer direction, swapping the mesh entirely for suede and soft nubuck. The all-premium material build gives the darker pair a more refined, seasonal feel that reads closer to a lifestyle shoe than a running-inspired model.
Co-branded AURALEE details appear on the insoles of both pairs, while the rest of each shoe carries standard 204L markings, including New Balance logos on the tongue and side panels. The restraint in the branding keeps the focus on the materials and silhouette rather than the collaboration itself.
The AURALEE x New Balance 204L Pack is set to release Summer 2026 via AURALEE, New Balance, and select retailers in-store and online. Pricing has not yet been announced.
