The VP/GM of Nike SNKRS, Lucy Rouse, addressed various Nike SNKRS-related concerns/future ideas at their Marketplace briefing today. The key point addressed by Rouse was the usage of sneaker bots during this briefing. She stated, "We actively remove bots to maintain a fair experience for everyone. Selected submissions will be notified after the Draw window closes. It is safe to close this screen." Nike has allegedly stopped up to 12 billion bot calls per month, with Nike being successful in eliminating up to 98% of bot entries. Nike still appears to take the usage of bots into consideration heavily during these coveted drops on Nike SNKRS. No new "protection" features have been implemented, with updates coming out periodically to ensure the fairest release system.
