Back in December 2022, we saw NBA star Kyrie Irving part ways with Nike. Since then, Irving has teamed up with ANTA and will be releasing his debut signature sneaker, the ANTA Kai 1. Not only has Irving signed a five-year deal with ANTA, but has also landed a role as Chief Creative Officer for ANTA Basketball. As this year's NBA season continues to play on, we're seeing a new "Enlightened Warrior" colorway arrive to the new ANTA Kai 1. Releasing later this month, be sure to mark this release down on your calendars if you're interested in getting your hands on the sneaker.
The ANTA KAI 1 “Enlightened Warrior” features colorful accents on a clean Black base. The upper will be constructed in a mix of mesh, nylon, and leather. The knit upper will be found dressed mainly in Black with White graphics complimenting the look. Additionally, by the toe-box, we'll see Yellow, Purple, and Pink gradient accents to add some color to the shoe. We'll see a classic midfoot strap in Black, alongside the Kyrie logo in Grey. Finishing off the look, we'll see a simple White rubber sole providing for both comfort and traction as well as a Pink accent strip underneath the mid-panel.
