The Air Jordan 6 Low "Metamorphosis" Releases September 2026

Jordan Brand is revisiting the Air Jordan 6 Low with a women's exclusive colorway called "Metamorphosis," a name the brand ties to the evolution of Tinker Hatfield's original 1991 Air Jordan 6 design. The silhouette has always occupied a quieter corner of the Jordan lineup, first introduced in 2002 as a lower-profile take on the classic high-top, and this release marks another chapter in its gradual resurgence.

Black nubuck covers most of the upper, giving the shoe a clean, premium base before Desert Berry panels introduce a pink iridescent finish that shifts subtly depending on the light. That same iridescent treatment carries over to the Jumpman lace lock, tying the detail work together across the shoe. Metallic Silver lands on the heel spoiler and select portions of the midsole, adding contrast without pulling the palette too far from its core black-and-berry identity. Beyond the new color application, the silhouette stays true to the familiar Air Jordan 6 Low shape.
