The Air Jordan 4 is getting a new colorway this month that pulls from a lesser-known chapter of Jordan Brand history. The "Flight Club" takes its name from the Air Jordan Flight Club which was a membership program that ran in the late '80s and early '90s. Members received exclusive newsletters, posters, apparel, and other perks that kept them plugged into everything Jordan.
For this release, the upper is built with premium sail leather as the foundation. Grey suede covers the mudguard around the toe, while black accents land on the wing eyelets, heel tabs, and sections of the midsole and outsole. The mesh sitting behind the signature netting on the tongue and midfoot panels is done in a matching sail tone, keeping the palette cohesive.
The heel is where this pair makes its clearest statement. Rather than the Jumpman logo that typically appears on retro releases, the Flight Club goes with Nike Air branding in black and outlined in University Red. That same red shows up on the Jumpman logo on the tongue. The Flight Club logo appears on both the tongue tag and insole, with the insole also featuring graphics that reference the original membership program's promotional posters. The sole unit rounds things out with a white and black midsole, visible Air cushioning in the heel, and a matching rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro OG "Flight Club" releases January 17, 2026 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. Full family sizing will be available at $220 for men's, $160 for GS, $100 for PS, and $85 for TD.
