Continuing the ongoing celebration of Chinese New Year, 2024 will be the Year of the Dragon, and Nike has already gone to the design process of the latest edition. This will follow 2023's "Year Of The Rabbit" we saw earlier this year. Aside from the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Year Of The Dragon" we saw surface a few weeks prior, you can also expect to see an Air Jordan 38 variant as well.
The Air Jordan 38 "Year Of The Dragon" will feature similar hues but an overall more colorful design compared to the AJ1 Low counterpart. The nubuck upper will be found in a burgundy hue, featuring unique detailing throughout. The laces will be found in a light jade shade, which will also be prevalent on the inserts on the midsole. Expect to see Lunar New Year inspired graphics on the Jumpman Logo on the tongue, as well as special insoles for this release. The rest of the midsole will be found in a blue-purple hue, which will extend to the rubber outsole. Stay tuned for official images of this shoe, and more updates as soon as we get them!
The Air Jordan 38 "Year Of The Dragon" is set to release on January 24th, 2024 via the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers for a retail of $200. To stay informed on all things Jordan Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
