It's starting to feel like Nike will stop at nothing to make the Air Jordan 2 popular. The shoe that almost led MJ himself to leave Nike in favor of Adidas never really seemed to catch on, regardless of how they released it. The swoosh has tried everything from OG colorways to high profile collabs to give the shoe some energy, and the only release that seemed to flicker a flame was the Off-White Low-Top 2-pack from 2021.
The Nike Air Jordan 2 Low "Varsity Royal" is next up for the 2s, and if you tilt your head just right, it could look like a reversed version of the "Black Blue" from the Off-White drop. The low tops use an almost all-white leather upper save for some varsity royal highlights. The tongue features the old-school Wings logo on the tongue and a solid black sock liner. The undercarriage uses a black midsole with sail and varsity royal on the outsole.
The Nike Air Jordan Low 2 "Varsity Royal" will be released in Women's sizing for $150 on July 6th via the SNKRS App and other retailers. Stay tuned for more updates, and follow us on Twitter and Instagram for the latest news on sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles.
