Originally released in 1986, the Air Jordan 2 was nowhere near as popular as its older brother, the Air Jordan 3. Now it looks like Jordan Brand will be creating a hybrid version of the two sneakers, with the upper featuring the design of the Air Jordan 2, with the sole featuring the Air Jordan 3. This concept was first seen on foot of Gentry Humphrey, the VP of Jordan Brand, and with in-hand images now surfacing. Releasing this Fall in "White Gum," this classic and simple colorway will be an exciting new addition to the Jordan Brand lineup.
The Air Jordan 2/3 “White Gum” features a simple and classy White and Gum Light Brown colorway. The mesh and leather upper is wrapped entirely in White, from the mesh inner lining to the rubber midsole. Across the leather upper, we can see a line of perforations, adding to the breathability and look of the sneaker. Finishing off the look, we'll see a Gum rubber outsole, keeping the look classy.
The Air Jordan 2/3 “White Gum” (W) is expected to release Fall 2024 via the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers for a retail of $160. To stay informed on all things Jordan Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
