Originally released in 1986, the Air Jordan 2 was nowhere near as popular as its older brother, the Air Jordan 3. Now it looks like Jordan Brand will be creating a hybrid version of the two sneakers, with the upper featuring the design of the Air Jordan 2, with the sole featuring the Air Jordan 3. This concept was first seen on foot of Gentry Humphrey, the VP of Jordan Brand, and with in-hand images now surfacing. Releasing this Fall in "Black/Metallic Silver," this classic and simple colorway will be an exciting new addition to the Jordan Brand lineup.
The Air Jordan 2/3 "Black/Metallic Silver" features a simple and classy Black and Metallic Silver colorway. The mesh/leather upper is wrapped in Black, with perforations found across the fore foot. Metallic Silver accents can be found on the midsection, heel, and outlining the Jordan Wings logo on the tongue. Finishing off the look, we'll see a sleek Black midsole sitting atop a Grey rubber outsole to give a nice vintage touch.
The Air Jordan 2/3 "Black/Metallic Silver" is expected to release Fall 2024 via the Nike SNKRS app and other select Nike retailers for a retail of $160. To stay informed on all things Jordan Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
