Jordan Brand is continuing its education-focused WINGS collection with the Air Jordan 13, a silhouette that carries the program's mission forward with a deliberately understated exterior and a wealth of colorful details tucked beneath the surface. The Air Jordan 13 "Wings" is built around the idea of wear and discovery, rewarding the wearer as the shoe breaks in over time.

In place of the Jordan 13's familiar quilted side panels, this build uses black denim twill covered in small, distressed X-shaped stitches. The rough embroidery gives the upper a handmade quality, while smooth black leather wraps the toe and mudguard to keep the silhouette close to the original model's shape. The denim overlay is designed to be worn, torn, or peeled back over time, gradually exposing the graphic underneath and letting the wearer shape the shoe's appearance to their own aesthetic. Nearly all of the color lives away from the upper, with purple, blue, green, and orange dressing the mismatched traction pods on the outsole, creating sharp contrast against the black rubber base. The Jordan 13's signature cat-eye hologram receives a subtle pale green tint as well.

WINGS branding appears across the tongue and the graphic panel behind it, while the insoles are covered in illustrations of school supplies, diplomas, Jordan logos, creative tools, and motivational messages, connecting the release directly to the students and young people the program supports. The special-edition box carries the same artwork as part of the "Wings Legacy Graphic," with Jordan Brand using the packaging to recognize students who have received educational support and scholarship opportunities through the WINGS initiative. The Air Jordan 13 joins earlier WINGS releases built around the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 5, and Air Jordan 12, each pair using the platform to help fund education, mentorship, and opportunities for students around the world.
