With all the elephant print-themed sneakers released lately, one might wonder if Nike received some massive discount on the material. After a bevy of Air Jordan 3s, including the “Remingined” 3’s, “White Cement” Jordan 1 Highs, “Black Cement” Jordan 1 OG Lows, as well as a host of Mids and Lows that used the elephant print, you may be starting to have some pattern fatigue.
Next up to use the brand staple pattern is the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Elephant,” but it takes a slightly different approach. The crepe has an upper that appears to be nothing more than a triple black to the naked eye. However, when you look closely, you can see that the heel, collar, and swoosh actually use a black-on-black variation of the elephant print. A white midsole and black outsole make up the undercarriage for a classic, clean design.
