Though the sneaker world is more than excited to have another round of Yeezy drops on the horizon, some upcoming releases bring more questions than excitement. First up were the "Onyx," "Granite," and "Slate Grey" Yeezy Slide triplets, and now there's an Adidas Yeezy "Carbon" Foam RNNR that looks eerily familiar. With all of these virtual carbon copies of each other released, one can only wonder if this is Ye's vision or Adidas's plan to recover lost revenues.
The fan-favorite Foam RNNR is built with a single piece of foam with plenty of venting to keep it lightweight and offer some curb appeal. The foam composition keeps the foot cradled nice and snug and provides a serious cushion on the bottom. The head-scratching part of this release is the color. While the "Carbon" is appealing, it closely mimics the "Onyx" that restocked in May. Regardless, expect these to sell out in the blink of an eye.
The Adidas Yeezy "Carbon” Foam RNNR carries a $90 price tag and will be released via the Confirmed App and other select retailers in August. Keep tabs on our Twitter and Instagram for all the details on the plethora of Yeezys released this month.
