The adidas Samba has built its reputation on clean leather construction and understated terrace style, but the "Deer Print" colorway takes a sharp detour from that formula. Rather than the smooth leather that defines most Samba builds, this release wraps the upper in pony hair material covered in splotchy white dots, giving the silhouette one of its more distinctive material treatments to date.

Brown Desert pony hair covers the majority of the upper, running across the toe box, side panels, eyestays, and heel to create a consistent speckled base. Warm Vanilla leather breaks the pattern on the Three Stripes branding and back tab, offering a clean contrast against the textured ground. Wonder Mauve leather handles the laces, tongue, lining, and tongue label, introducing a soft rosy tone that rounds out the palette. A gold Trefoil logo on the tongue adds a final accent, keeping the branding refined without competing with the pony hair detailing below.

Beyond the upper's unconventional material choice, the Samba stays true to its original form. The slim silhouette and stitched panel construction remain intact, and a gum rubber outsole wraps up the build in the familiar fashion the model has carried for decades.
