In 2023, we saw the return of Kobe Bryant's Adidas Crazy 1. Earlier in 2024, we saw the release of the adidas Crazy 1 “2001 All-Star Game,” and now we're hearing news of the return of the iconic "Playoffs" colorway this Summer. This colorway was first seen during the 2001 NBA Playoffs on feet worn by Kobe Bryant. It was then seen again in 2014 as a re-release, and now, a decade later, we'll be seeing this special colorway once again to pay homage to Kobe Bryant's legacy.
The adidas Crazy 1 “Playoffs” maintains its signature look with an upper made of synthetic leather and the Three Stripes embossed into the sides. The upper arrives in a Black/White knit design, almost resembling the look of carbon fiber. The mesh inner lining, tongue, and laces will be found in Black, with the adidas logo on the tongue in a vibrant Yellow hue. Finishing off the look, we'll see a Metallic Silver midsole sitting atop a Black rubber outsole.
The midsole will feature a full-length EVA system, found dressed in a sleek Black alongside the rubber outsole. Finishing off the look, we'll see special "01" branding on the tongue, paying homage to the original All-Star game. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this release in the coming weeks.
The adidas Crazy 1 “Playoffs” is set to release in June 2024 via adidas.com and other select adidas retailers for a retail of $150. To stay informed on all things adidas Brand and to stay up to date with the latest releases, connect with us on Instagram and Twitter.
