Anthony Edwards' third signature shoe with adidas is picking up a colorway that nods to his Minnesota Timberwolves roots, combining purple with an iridescent finish that makes the AE 3's most distinctive design element the center of attention. The "Purple Iridescent" colorway leans into the silhouette's oversized molded zigzag cage, using a light-shifting finish to keep the shoe visually dynamic from every angle.

The upper is built on a purple textile base, matched by purple laces and a padded collar that carries the tone through the ankle area. A white mesh tongue sits at the center, with Edwards' signature logo printed in purple just below the top eyelet. The AE 3's signature oversized zigzag panels run along both sides of the shoe, stretching from the heel nearly to the toe, and those panels carry the iridescent finish that cycles between silver, blue, and pink depending on the lighting. Darker mesh is visible through the gaps between panels, adding depth to the layered construction. A reflective material near the toe adds another light-reactive detail that shows up clearly under flash photography. White adidas branding lands on the molded heel piece, providing a clean contrast against the purple base.
