Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has made huge strides in his NBA career, showcasing his all-star skills in this year's NBA playoffs. Since releasing his first signature shoe with adidas, the adidas AE 1 has become a major hit. This year, adidas and Edwards introduced the new AE 1 Low, which offers a very similar design to the AE 1, with a lower cut design. Additionally, this updated version of the high top will include significant weight reduction and introduce a different cushion setup, which will be exciting to see. Releasing in "Ascent," you can expect to see this colorway hit shelves at the end of July 2024.
The adidas AE 1 Low “Ascent” features a minimal color palette including Silver Pebble, Core Black, and Wonder Beige hues. The upper features the neoprene inner bootie, and a mix of mesh/rubber. The shoe features a classic two-toned design, the inner bootie, laces, and tongue will be found in Black. The rest of the sneaker is found in a marbled texture in Silver Pebble. The rear heel features a protruding carbon fiber piece with a colored adidas logo in Grey. The JET BOOST midsole connects with the upper, and features a rubberized outsole with an arrow-designed tread for the best grip on the court.
