adidas is pushing its retro-runner aesthetic forward with the Adistar XLG 2.0 in a "Royal Blue" colorway that leans into the bulky silhouette's early-2000s roots while keeping things sharp enough for today's lifestyle rotation. A breathable white mesh upper serves as the foundation, with bright blue cage overlays creating strong contrast across the toe, eyestay, side panels, and heel.
Black Three Stripes branding cuts across the side panels and matches the tongue logo and outsole, anchoring the color-blocked build with a cleaner finish. Metallic silver accents on the heel and midfoot shank bring a tech-inspired layer to the design, while blue heel pods add a final hit of color near the back of the shoe.
